About
Our Mission
The mission of Mindfulness Works, LLC is to help individuals and organizations thrive through expertly structured, accessible mindfulness and self-compassion programs, classes and coaching, and through techniques drawn from the science of happiness.
Cornelia Kip Lee
Cornelia has practiced mindfulness meditation in the early Buddhist tradition since 1995, studying with senior Western mindfulness teachers such as Joseph Goldstein, Sharon Salzberg, Rodney Smith and Mark Nunberg.
She is also an adult learning expert with more than 25 years of experience in public health and nonprofit work, focused on designing training for healthcare professionals.
Her approach is practical and accessible, blending her understanding of Buddhist meditation with training in secular mindfulness. Cornelia received mindfulness teacher mentoring and certification through the UC San Diego Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute’s teacher certification programs.
She is qualified to teach the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (link) (MBSR) and the Mindful Self-Compassion (link) (MSC) eight-week programs. She has also adapted these programs for one-hour segments that are convenient and impactful for employees.
Please contact Cornelia to discuss Mindfulness Works programs and how they may benefit you, your colleagues, and/or staff.
